NEW INSTALLATIONJust installed your system and having trouble?Start with the Pre-flight checklist. These are the most common things to check on a new installation.
Open checklist +
Power
- Everything is connected to 12-volt keyed power.
- The display powers up without errors.
- A Pro Series controller shows its green LED.
- The scale amplifier power is on when a scale is installed.
Sensors
- Stroke, flake, and bale-tie sensors are gapped 1/8–1/4 inch.
- Each target passes squarely in front of its sensor.
- The red LED on each sensor lights when that sensor is triggered.
- On the Diagnostics page, verify each sensor reads 1 when triggered and 0 when not triggered.
Scale
- The scale is parallel to or slightly raised from the baler chamber angle.
- It is secure, moves freely, and nothing binds or contacts it incorrectly.
- The scale has been hard zeroed exactly as shown in the installation instructions.
Options & settings
- Every item on the Settings page has been reviewed.
- All installed options are enabled.
- Max Pressure and Bales in Chamber are set correctly.
- Counter, scale, moisture, pressure, and automation settings are correct as applicable.
Final check: Run the baler slowly and confirm the live values and red sensor LEDs respond correctly before normal operation.
