Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information BestBale collects, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
The short version
This summary is provided for convenience. The complete policy below controls if there is a conflict.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information handled by BestBale LLC ("BestBale," "we," "us," or "our") through bestbaleusa.com, our hosted Kit Builder and checkout experience, contact and newsletter forms, customer support, warranty service, and other interactions that link to this policy.
It does not govern a third party's independent privacy practices. A third-party website, platform, dealer, or service may provide its own privacy notice when it collects information directly from you.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact information, such as your name, business or farm name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.
- Order and transaction information, such as products selected, baler make and model, options, price, shipping details, purchase history, and transaction status.
- Payment information. Payments may be handled by a payment processor. BestBale generally receives transaction confirmation and limited payment details, such as card type and last four digits, rather than your complete payment card number.
- Communications and support information, including messages, form submissions, call notes, photos, videos, equipment details, diagnostic information, reviews, warranty claims, and other content you choose to send us.
- Marketing preferences, such as whether you subscribe to emails or request product information.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website or hosted tools, we and our service providers may automatically collect IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times, interactions with site features or emails, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic or security data.
Information from other sources
We may receive information from our hosted Kit Builder and checkout provider, payment and shipping providers, HubSpot or other customer-relationship and email providers, dealers or business partners, social media platforms when you interact with us there, and publicly available sources. We may combine that information with information we already maintain.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide the website, Kit Builder, products, and requested services.
- Prepare quotes; process and fulfill orders; arrange payment, delivery, returns, and warranty service; and maintain transaction records.
- Confirm product compatibility and provide installation, technical, diagnostic, and customer support.
- Respond to questions, requests, reviews, or other communications.
- Send transactional messages and, where permitted, product news or marketing communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Operate, personalize, analyze, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our website, tools, products, support, and advertising.
- Detect fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with tax, accounting, warranty, safety, regulatory, and other legal obligations; establish or defend legal claims; and enforce agreements.
- Evaluate or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale, or transfer involving all or part of our business.
Where a law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform a contract or respond before entering a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests that are not overridden by your rights, or with consent.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our website and embedded services may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. The specific technologies present depend on the features and services enabled when you visit.
- Essential and security technologies help pages, forms, checkout, fraud prevention, and security work properly.
- Functional technologies remember choices and improve site features.
- Analytics technologies help us understand traffic, site use, email engagement, and performance.
- Advertising technologies, if enabled, help measure campaigns or provide more relevant advertising. These providers may collect information about activity over time and across websites or services.
You can limit cookies through your browser and, when available, the choices presented on our website. Blocking some technologies may affect site features. You can also use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, our website may not respond to them. Where required by applicable law, we recognize legally valid opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device sending the signal. You may also contact us to make a privacy request.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including customer service, warranty support, recordkeeping, tax and accounting requirements, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, our relationship with you, legal requirements, and operational needs.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information you provided to us has been compromised, please contact us promptly.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information and access or receive a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request, where applicable.
To exercise a right, visit our Contact Us page and state that your message is a privacy request. Please describe what you are requesting. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authority and verification directly from you.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may deny or limit a request where allowed by law, such as when information must be retained for an order, warranty, security, tax, legal, or recordkeeping purpose. If we deny an appeal, we will provide any additional complaint information required by applicable law.
Marketing choices
Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us to stop marketing messages. You may still receive non-marketing messages about an order, warranty, support request, or other ongoing business relationship.
